ESIS seeks coaches and mentors with current coaching qualifications, such as ILM Coaching and Mentoring.
Coaches and mentors should be excellent at working with peers in one-to-one sessions or in small groups. They should be strong observers and listeners, able to learn and take on board information from others. They should be able to positively guide others, explaining their observations and providing strategies for change – sometimes with solid, specific advice, at other times with a range of options from which to choose.
Coaches and mentors often have specific curriculum expertise and/or a strong pedagogical background.
They should be able to work with people in different organisational roles, including at managerial or leadership levels.
