ESIS seeks and hires CPD trainers who are the very best subject-matter specialists, able to deliver engaging CPD programmes based on sound academic principles.
They should be able to deliver sessions which are participative, interactive and individualised – often customised on the spot when delegates raise questions or query specific points.
CPD trainers should be able to understand each education provider’s culture, priorities and barriers to success, so that training is always ‘in context’ and never ‘off the shelf’.
Our CPD trainers work to pre-agreed objectives, which have been signed off in advance by the customer. This includes key teaching points and concepts, which delegates will be given time to implement back in the working environment. We very much seek people who can ‘teach with’ others and not ‘at’ them.
CPD trainers should be able to work and collaborate with ESIS and our clients to build a detailed plan for CPD programmes – and create the relevant content for the programmes themselves.
All applicants for roles with ESIS are usually fully qualified teachers, with extensive experience.
